Vedavalli Vidya Mandir Senior Sec School offers a variety of activities designed to meet the interests of our students. The School believes that textual studies are only a part of the full development of a child and therefore provides a wide range of in house activities starting from Kindergarten Level. The main thrust of activities at the VVM are visualized to promote the development of a balanced and harmonious personality of the students including physical, practical, aesthetic, moral and intellectual aspects.

We at VVM have a wide range of activities and events introduced to our little angels. We celebrate Color Day in a grand scale to make the kids understand the importance of colors and the long lasting impression they create.
Ganesh Chaturti known as Vinayaga Chaturthi is celebrated in the School campus in a grand manner. During this occasion Laksharchanai and Abishekams are doe in the name of the students
We have introduced a special curriculum designed for the Music Class for our students. Trained experts in the respective field give training for our students.
We at VVM celebrate Independence Day and Republic Day with great vigor to remind the untold sacrifices of the freedom fighters. By celebrating we inculcate the meaning of patriotism in the young minds.
Field trip gives students eudcational experiences apart from their regular school environment. Popular field trip sites include Zoo, Mahabalipuram, Light House, Brila Planetarium, Science Museums etc.,.
Krishna Jayanthi is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year. Our KG kids comes to school in the attire of Krishna and Radha.
Our school every year celebrates Christmas, which includes carol songs, dance and music performed by our students. We also have a Santa Claus who give away gifts and chocolates to our children.
We have First Aid demonstration regularly by St johns Services which gives a superior knowledge about the medical assistance given to the person at the time of emergency.
Fire Fighting demonstration is also done in the presence of Teachers and Students in a secured environment where the students learn and understand the operations of the Fire Extinguishers.
Considering the importance of Yoga and Karate we have well trained teachers to give necessary training for our students in the school campus. These training enriches the concentration of the students. We have yoga period for every class to teach mental relaxation, good health and to help our students develop good personality.
Project Work is a learning experience for the students as it provides an opportunity to synthesize knowledge. Hence we have a special day called "Project Day" where the students are allowed to display their projects from different areas of learning.
Our School conducts a Food Carnival festival every year to make the students and parents understand about the Nutritional Balanced Diet. We have Judges from various reputed Inn's to taste the delicious food prepared by our students.
World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June by the school. This is organised by the students to raise a global awareness about the environmental issues. The students write slogans to create awareness among everyone about the environmental issues which we face and also related to the other topics of environment viz. water and energy conservation, or saving trees or fuel.
The School has meaningful learning process included in the curriculum. Our School with an objective to lend opportunities to students to explore and assess their abilities and aptitude on varieties of life related skills, students are encouraged to take up varieties of activities which are productive and useful.They include Art & craft, clay work, carpentry, bag making, computer education, embroidery etc.,
Children enjoy the play hours in all exuberance and cherish these times to go back to class in all enthusiasm.
The kindergarten playground is facilitated with recreational equipment such as the seesaw,merry-go-round, swing set, slide.
Playhouses many of which help children develop physical coordination, strength, and flexibility, as well as providing recreation and enjoyment.
The Playground is equipped with facilities for playing games and sports, such as a Cricket , Tennis, Volleyball, Throw ball, Football, Badminton and Indoor Games as well -Chess, Carrom, Tennikoit.
Qualified coaches who are a part of our teaching fraternity coach the students as per their interests.
